Cistus Incanus
Cistus incanus, commonly referred to as the "gray-haired rockrose," is a flowering plant
that belongs to the Cistaceae family. It's native to the Mediterranean region, and as
such, can be found in parts of Albania.
Cistus incanus is a shrubby plant with lanceolate leaves that are slightly hairy on the
upper side and more densely on the underside, giving them a grayish appearance. The
plant typically grows to a height of up to 1 meter.
The plant has a history of use in traditional medicine in the Mediterranean region. The
leaves, in particular, are known for their high content of polyphenols, which are
antioxidants
