Hedera helix is a woody vine with glossy, dark green, lobed leaves. The plant produces
small greenish-yellow flowers in clusters, followed by black or dark blue berries in the
winter
While primarily ornamental in many parts of the world, ivy has also been used in
traditional medicine for various purposes, including as a topical treatment for certain
skin conditions.
